Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood author and actress who's talents have brought her critical acclaim and recognition. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. Her heritage is English-Scottish. Her father was a professional who frequently moved the family. It was a struggle to make and keeping friendships. Moore started acting in plays in the year she attended Frankfurt American High School when her family relocated to Germany. In 1983, she earned an BA in Fine Arts at Boston University. In 1983 she graduated with an B.F.A. Moore relocated to New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway theater. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, she made her debut appearance on screen. She performed the double role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns the show that marked her debut. The show aired from 1988 to 1990 and received the Daytime Emmy Award. Her debut cinematic appearance was in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. The movie was later criticized as a poor low-budget film. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), as well as 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) were among her films. For the former, she received several awards and the acclamation of critics. Moore was first cast as the lead role in Safe (1996). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead for Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was among the most watched films of during the time. She was a part of Magnolia (1999) that was praised by critics which earned her an SAG nod for her role. The film was co-produced by Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep along with other actors in The Hours, which was nominated nine times for Academy Awards. Moore has also been seen in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) along with a host of other films. Non-Stop was her film from 2014. Moore has been on numerous TV and film series. Most recently, she was in starring roles is In 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. Her career as an actress in Hollywood is well established and she is also a published children's novelist. In 2007, she released Freckleface Strawberry, which became a New York Times bestseller. It was adapted as an animated TV show and musical. The year 2013 saw her release her book My Mom Is a Foreigner. Moore is a successful actor and author, has made her personal life known to the world. She separated from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two children. Moore's focus is on her family, friends and her work.
